Introductions
Hello Everyone! My name is Chris Anderson and I am an evolutionary biologist currently based in Los Angeles and Mexico City. I have recently (2009) completed my doctoral degree and am now firmly ensconced in the postdoctoral stage of my academic career. I thought it would be nice to document my progress as I navigate the (sometimes) rough waters of professional academia. I’ll be using this blog as a public platform to document my professional academic life. I also plan to share some of the interesting links/papers that I come across.

My name is Sarah and I study Biology at Western University, Canada. I came across your paper about character displacement in fighting colours of damselflies, and I wanted to let you know that I found it really intriguing. The fact that there is a noticeable change in pigmentation of the species because of territoriality is fascinating.
